tents in the wilderness
We’ve put a few things up in Chapel this week aimed at de-stressing. There’s a little exercise in perspective, which involve footprints on the floor. There’s a chill-out meditation corner in the side chapel, ably constructed by one of the student groups.
And in the main chapel I have put up a tent full of More...

trees
I love trees. They inspire me, make me feel good to be alive. I love them in winter, when they stand stark against a pale sky. I love them at twilight when they look full of secrets. In the spring when the light yellow green leaves begin, the freshness of that colour seems full of More...
god turns his back
i was talking to a friend last night, who is going through hard times. "The really difficult thing," said my friend, "is not the stuff I have to deal with, it’s that in the middle of it all it just feels like God has disappeared."
