Advent Beach Huts (again)

On December 2, 2008 / By maggi dawn / Reply

If I lived within 20 miles I would go to this every single evening. Even at a distance, I am going to make it down to the seaside for a couple of them. Advent_Beach_Hut_Lasers_email

If you're in Sussex, or can manage a trip to Hove (yes, it's just along the beach from Brighton) then it's my top Advent recommendation this year.

Meantime I'm spending Advent thinking about deserts and temptations, not stars and tinsel. My Advent book sold well last year, and the publishers have asked me to write a Lent Book for 2010.  If you missed the Advent book in 07, it's been reprinted – get one here:

  1. I don’t know who started Free Art Friday but one of the earliest contributors and driving forces here in the UK is My Dog Sighs who helped us with our very first BEYOND. He would not claim to be religious but there is something about his altruism and creativity that speaks of God. You can read what he thought about being involved in something like this on his Flickr site http://www.flickr.com/photos/mydogsighs/2450033430/in/set-72157604783848515

  2. Thanks so much, Maggi.

  3. Thanks so much for this post. It speaks to me of the woman who annoints Jesus with costly perfume – trying to face death with beauty and humble service.
Anyway PAX has given me lots of ideas thank you!
