  1. Hope you stay well, Maggi.

  2. Hi Maggie, I hope you are feeling better now. I haven’t read Life of Pi but I love the quote. I posted a pic of the Charing Cross Road art shop ‘Let’s Fill This Town With Artists’. I thought that was cool. Will check out Inspector Gadget’s blog but I guess I see a different side of things again.
    Take care.

  3. thanks, Andy, I know, I wonder whether if you could line up the account of the paramedics, fire service, police, priest, doctor, lawyer, nurse, mental health services, social services, relatives on hand… what kind of a picture would emerge from an emergency situation? My own view is skewed from what I see as priest to the patient/victim, and their relatives, and what I observe of the heroic practical action of paras and firemen. Inspector Gadget adds an interesting layer to that. I don’t agree with all his views, but from my line of work it is more than mere rant or entertainment – it adds another point of view to something I see up close.

  4. PS and thanks, Tim and Andy, yes, getting better by the day!
