Doctor Who – The end of time
So apparently my son and I were joined by more than ten million others last night watching the last episode of David Tennant as The Doctor. Some of it was a bit over the top, but there was plenty of touching stuff, thought provoking, and the usual wealth of moral/spiritual threads. I was quite taken by the Doctor’s refusal to save himself with the gun in his hand, because “that’s how the Master started”.
I know the whole Universe was singing to The Doctor at the end, but it still seemed to me like he pretty much died alone. Except, he didn’t die, did he? He just regenerated again…
