Enchantment
The last 2 days of exams are upon us. Some very, very tired students are plodding about, and every few hours some even-more-tired Fellows emerge pale-faced from their dens of marking. Tomorrow night May Week begins (that's Ball season – a week of Balls and garden parties, which despite being called May Week is always in June). It kicks off with Robinson Ball, "Enchantment", which, following last year's sell-out success, promises to be very good indeed. Robinson May Ball always has dodgems, and has also had everything from djs to acoustic, salsa to barn dance, comedy, casino, massage, chocolate fountains, and round the clock movie theatre. We have also been written up in the staff news as having THE best food in Cambridge. So I shall attempt to get a little sleep tonight before finding out what tomorrow's Ball has in store, and dining, relaxing and dancing the night away…
