new blogging
I’ve been doing some work with the person who redesigned this blog. He has been revising my blogging habits with me.
When I started blogging seven years ago I wasn’t writing books. Since then I’ve written a lot of articles and three books. A couple of days ago I mentioned the conception of another book. This writing of books is becoming a new habit. And there isn’t time to blog in the same way I used to. No more the daily blogger. It’s become too many plates to spin. Time for a new plan.
Here’s my new blog strategy. I’ll post one decent length, thoughtful post about something that matters, something seasonal. One a week, on a Tuesday morning. In between I’ll put up little top-ups as they appear. But once a week there will be something here worth reading. Stop by once a week and here it will be. I’m not giving up blogging. just concentrating my energies.
Thank you for reading. See you on Tuesday. And the Tuesday after that.

I know it will be worth waiting for my Tuesday Treat, Maggi!
I can certainly appreciate that approach, Maggi. I have often wondered if I am a bad blogger as I only post about twice a month (in addition to my homilies site), but I just resigned myself to the fact that being a parish priest, a husband, a dad, and already having to write so much with respect to regular preach, that I would only post when I have a thoughtful reflection, and not just for the sake of posting.
I do appreciate reading your posts will look forward to Tuesdays!

Maggi, thanks for having the discipline to restrict – but not to give up – your blogging activities. I will continue to read and enjoy what you post … with thanks. Jason
