Wow, thanks for this post Maggi. I was listening to HIS small still voice today and now through reading your post it’s become a shout out! I to beleive that He is risen but through a variety of reasons I have lived my faith quietly as I walked away from ‘the church’ some years ago but, I did not walk away from God. It has been a bit of a game of hide and seek sometimes though but HE always finds me out, thankfully!

  2. wonderful post!

  3. Great post. Thank you. I’m sure you’re right. Even as we doubt, stumble and fall, he’s with us and he’s big enough to deal.
I wonder sometimes if I’ll recognise God when he comes to pick me up, and I remember that risen Jesus went unrecognised by many (including Mary) at first too. But he waits patiently, and when the moment’s right he shows us who he is and what he’s doing.
When things are rough it’s reassuring to know that even Saul was reached by Jesus. Who’d have anticipated his transformation? I can’t help but smile when I think of the pharisee turned evangelist as he appeals to Agrippa: “why should any of you consider it incredible that God raises the dead?”! Now there’s a statement that’s simultaneously trite and profound? Oh for a mustardseed of faith like that…
